Inside Qianzhan's Autumn Production Peak: Winter Workwear Orders in Full Swing

Oct 15,2026

October is when our workshop gets loud. Autumn and winter orders — hi-vis parkas, FR coveralls, soft shell jackets and padded workwear — are moving down the lines at full speed, and the factory floor tells the story better than any brochure. Here is a walk through the production peak, step by step.

It starts at the fabric warehouse

No garment is better than its fabric, so nothing enters production until every roll passes incoming inspection. This week's arrivals — fluorescent oxford, flame retardant cotton blends, waterproof membranes and quilted linings — are checked against the buyer's specification for weight (GSM), color consistency and shrinkage before they are cleared for the cutting room.

Rolls that pass are tagged with their order number and inspected shade batch, so that one order is always cut from a single dye lot — the detail that keeps color consistent across thousands of garments.

From CAD marker to cutting table

Upstairs, the pattern office converts approved tech packs into digital markers. The CAD system nests each size run to squeeze the maximum yield from every meter of fabric — typically the difference between a profitable order and a wasteful one.

Then the spreading and cutting teams take over. Layers are laid to a controlled height, cut in a single pass, and every bundle is numbered so panels from the same shade batch stay together all the way to sewing.

Sewing lines running at full capacity

The sewing floor is where the peak is most visible. Hi-vis orders run on dedicated lines where reflective tape is applied at set intervals and checked for compliance with EN ISO 20471 placement rules; FR lines keep separate threading and needle policies to protect the garment's certified performance.

Each operator performs a self-check at every operation, and each line has a roving quality officer who pulls units for in-line inspection several times per shift.

Logos that survive the worksite

Branding happens in-house: embroidery for corporate and uniform programs, heat transfer and silicone badges where a low-profile look or wash durability is required. Logos are wash-tested together with the garment fabric so the result does not fray or fade after the first industrial laundry cycle.

Two quality gates before anything ships

Every order passes two gates. First, in-line inspection during sewing catches issues while they are still cheap to fix. Second, a final random inspection on packed garments measures measurements, workmanship, labeling and packing against the buyer's approved sample and AQL standard. Only orders that clear the final gate move to the warehouse.

Packed, labeled and ready to load

Finished orders are poly-bagged, size-striped, carton-marked and staged for container loading. For European buyers, autumn shipments also mean the year-end holiday slowdown is close — which is exactly why the workshop is running Saturdays through this season.

Planning your own season?

Autumn production slots fill quickly every year. If you are sourcing hi-vis, FR or winter workwear for next season, send us your tech pack or target price — our team will confirm fabric options, certification status and a production schedule within one working day.
